Why do we challenge ourselves

Challenging yourself can completely change your life and open endless opportunities. Build Confidence. While you can motivate yourself with quotes and affirmations, action is what will give you the lift that you need. There is so much more in you than you think.

For example, if you feel that you are not good at writing, but want to be a good writer, or wish you were, then write! The best thing you can do is challenge yourself to write something every day. You can start by sharing your own experience and story. You will soon discover that writing will become more comfortable and you will become more confident in your ability to produce engaging content.

This is just one reason why you must challenge yourself. Grow into Your Personality. Different life situations change us. Some of these make us better, while others make us bitter. The choices we make every day define us and make us into who we become. That is why challenging yourself is so important. Know that You Did Your Best.

Living life full of regrets can WILL tear you down. Life is either the pain of discipline OR the pain of regret. Take Control of Your Life.

Prove yourself that you are in control of your life and that your decisions are the ones that shape your future. Do we listen enough? Do we reach out enough to show them we care? Being a good friend is hard work and requires conscious, consistent effort. Challenge yourself to become a better friend will make you and your friend's lives happier and better in more ways than one.

All great artists and innovators learn one golden rule: inspiration must be sought. We need to be creative and seek inspiration — it does not simply knock on our door. So, go outside. Experience new things. Challenging yourself to find ways to become inspired is a must.

The alarm clock goes off, we get up and go through our daily routines, then return home to finish off our day.

Sounds familiar? Many of us go through a routined lifestyle, but it can often get mundane and boring. The truth is, it's easy to do the same old thing. It can even make us feel safe. But, why not challenge ourselves to try new things and gain new experiences? When you want to change for the better, you seek a target that aligns with your personal and professional goals. If this helps you take even one small step in the right direction, it will be a meaningful success.

It helps you establish your priorities. Identify what is important to you and cut the crap out of your way. Binge-watching Game of Thrones to keep up with your friends might seem a very important thing to do now, but it will never be at the top of your priority list.

Unless, of course, you are preparing for a GoT fan club competition with lucrative prizes. It motivates you. There was no better motivation to do something absurd. It expands your mind. It fuels your thinking process. When you learn new things, meet new people, change old beliefs, and discard useless thoughts,it exercises your thinking power to the extreme.

With every successful change, you get gratification, a sense of contentment. How can you not feel smug and gleeful when the scale shows 10 pounds less than it had for a long time? With every unsuccessful change, you learn something new to use in the next challenge. Analyse what you could have done better and use the learning in your next challenge.

It triggers creativity. Challenges are meant to push you. You will often find yourself pushed to the limits of your time, patience, and capacity. Creativity will be your best friend in times like these and will help you prevail and come out on top. It will expand your social growth. You cannot grow in isolation. At times you will be required to meet new people to help and seek help from them. The right mindset with these meetings can give a huge boost to both your confidence and eventually your social status.

You get rid of the boredom, the drudgery, and the unhappiness. Nothing more to say. You will experience this yourself.

You will lose the fear of the unknown. Challenges will motivate you to embrace any curveball life throws at you.

It will become second nature to navigate the challenges life gives and come out a winner. It will help you achieve that big, audacious goal you have dreamt of, one small challenge at a time. Comments great article my friend. I love this, personal growth is so important, we need to really challenge ourselves at times!

This post just came right in time! He thats a great challenge. All the best. The bigger the challenge the bigger the opportunity. When opportunity knocks, open the door and embrace the challenge. The Motivation for Personal Growth. Look around you. Look at the people who are most fulfilled. What do they have in common? Look around the office and at the people you work with.

Look at the people who enjoy their work and role that they perform. The chances are that there is a common theme in that they all invest time and energy into their personal growth. They may take courses, they may volunteer for opportunities, they may accept opportunities to work at a higher level.

When the role they are in no longer challenges them, they seek new opportunities and new roles. When we are children we are continuously working on our personal growth as we learn about ourselves and what we are capable of. Does this stop as an adult? At the age of 18, had you determined who you were and all you were capable of?

Can you determine that now, regardless of your age?
