In Servants of the Betrayer , the X Nether-Rocket Loot Card is found in approximately 1 out of packs, which makes it a very rare card. Booster packs of Archives have a 1 in chance to contain a mount , and Reign of Fire packs have a 1 in chance, which of course means any mount …not necessarily the X In other words, it's even harder to try for it from either of those expansions. As you can see, this mount doesn't come cheap, but hell… it's a freakin' rocket!!! Search current ebay auctions for X Nether-Rocket loot availability and pricing.

Just buy it off eBay if you're looking to get the mount; save yourself the time and hassle, not to mention lots of opened packs with useless cards.
Unless, of course, you play the TCG. This should bring the price up considerably on this mount to be as much as the epic item.

Comment by Well I got this via the Landro card in the Cata deluxe but didn't get the purple version of the rocket just the blue. Is it because I used the Landro card versus redeeming the actual rocket card?
Comment by I picked up this mount during cata for g on the AH. I presume somebody made and error posting it for that price or did not know what its value was. I was expecting a message from the seller perhaps in the following days but none came. If you are a mount collector like me, I would try and scoop one up ASAP before they all possibly disappear.
Both of the mounts I mentioned have not been on my server for a long time and I am kicking myself for not buying them earlier in the game, as now the prices of them are soaring, and the amounts available are dropping.
So if you are lucky enough to find one, have the gold to purchase, and do want them I would not wait for a second opportunity. Goodluck all and happy hunting! It is a VERY rare drop but you can get it if you buy a lot of cards from the new expansion. If you only have riding, you can buy the blue version, and can upgrade later with the same code when you have the riding to get it. Comment by Thottbot What's the flight speed? Comment by Thottbot This card is not the mount itself. Once you redeem the code and give it to Landro in Booty Bay he sells the rockets to you for the standard mount price. That explains the price on wowwiki. The mounts are like all other flying mounts.
